Fife – £70K Property
Let’s start with Fife. This is a fantastic little starter property located in Glenrothes, a 2 bedroom terraced home in need of some tender loving care for £70K for sale with Slater, Hogg and Howison.
It only hit the market at the end of August and had a closing date of 9th September, but it is still listed for sale today as a Premium listing, so it looks like the seller is motivated to get this deal done and dusted. This would be a great project with good sized bedrooms and a back garden that could be landscaped and this property would be fabulous.
Glasgow – £75K Property
Glasgow is full of beautiful architecture and this building is no exception! This Art Nouveau Building has a 2 bedroom flat for sale in Paisley that hit the market yesterday for offers over £75K with the selling agent, Cochran Dickie.

Edinburgh – £110K Property
Has held true to the prices! We could not find any houses/flats available for under the £80K budget, unless you were happy to only own a 25% share, or wanted to live in a garage!
We had to increase the budget to a minimum of £110K. This one in Musselburgh is very unique and is now on at a fixed price of £110K with Allingham & Co, Edinburgh. This property has been on the market since May last year, so this might be one to negotiate……….
It is a top floor studio flat with a shared garden and is very homely and charming for this fantastic price.
Updated: This property might be pending sale, it has been removed by Rightmove already! This is why you should check for new properties on a daily basis if you are an investor.
Dundee – £80K Property
The next property again was put to a closing date, but does not appear to be sold at this point. This terraced 3 bedroom property in Balunie Avenue, Dundee is on for a steal at £80K. Listed on the 15th September, the closing date was set for the end of September, but RightMove have continued to list this as available.

Aberdeen
We have gone for something different in Aberdeen. Prices in Aberdeen continue to be reasonable.
What about this 2 bedroom flat in Greenburn Terrace in Aberdeen. It first hit the market in May and the asking price has decreased by over 20% since then. This property is non-standard construction which means that there are no lenders available to allow you to borrow money against the property but what it does mean as an investor is that if you have cash to burn, this would be a great rental investment. The student rental market is high in Aberdeen and 2 bedrooms would rent out at around £800-£850 per month, that’s a rental income of over £10K per year.
